Bill & Sandy Van Pool
A brief biography

Bill and Sandy have had a love for dance ever since early childhood.
Early in 1980’s Bill & Sandy along with three other couples formed a dance
group called THE WHISKEY RIVER DANCER’S, the group was a great success
competing in the 1980’s and holding the OZARK FUNVENTION a yearly event
with dance competition and workshops. Then in the later 90’s Bill & Sandy started
the OZARK DANCE FESTIVAL  a yearly event featuring just workshops and evening
dance parties. The OZARK DANCE FESTIVAL  has been a popular, fun, laid back
event held every Father’s Day week end for the past several years. It has featured many
of the countries top Instructors Jo Thompson, Joanne Brady, Randy & Rhonda Shotts,
Mark & Mary Harris, David & Lynn Thornton, Wally & Karla Quinn, Kathy Stearns,
Karen Hedges, Patty Vaughn Staiger, Larry Harmon and many more and some great
Entertainers such as Scooter Lee and Ronnie Beard.

The Ozark Dance Festival is held In the beautiful Lake of The Ozarks in June each year.

Bill and Sandy still teach private lessons and group lessons and at different events
around the country. They teach Country and  West Coast and East Coast Swing. Two Step,
Triple Two, Hustle, Cha Cha, Night Club Two and Line Dance. You are always welcome at the
OZARK DANCE FESTIVAL where you come as FRIENDS and leave as FAMILY.
